Petition to Reinstate Medicare Benefit for Abdominoplasty for Mothers

Kerrie Edwards is a mother on a mission to petition the House of Representatives to reinstate Medicare Benefit for Abdominoplasty for mothers. Abdominal separation is a common condition that affects many women after pregnancy and childbirth and often an abdominoplasty is the only solution. Medicare has labelled abdominoplasty as purely cosmetic, but this is not the case. Several plastic surgeons are in support of this petition and have made their own attempts to reinstate the benefit for abdominoplasty but Kerrie says we must not give up.
